Laney Graduate School (LGS)

Laney Graduate Student Council

The Laney Graduate Student Council (LGSC) is the governing body of graduate students in the Laney Graduate School at Emory University. They host social events, support chartered student organizations, fund events for graduate student groups, and hold open meetings once a month where students can request LGSC support for their activities.

Rollins School of Public Health (RSPH)

Rollins Student Government Association (RSGA)

The Rollins Student Government Association (RSGA) serves as the representative body for public health students, advocating for their interests and organizing events.

The purpose of the RSGA is:

· To promote the pursuit of knowledge through the provision of services and programs that improve the quality of Rollins' students’ lives and education.

· To foster a broad sense of community among the students of all departments at Rollins.

· To coordinate advocacy to provide a forum of open and constructive debate regarding issues that are of concern to Rollins students.

· To signify Rollins in university-wide governance through representation and recognition within the Graduate Student Government Association and Emory University Student Government Association, among others.

Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing

Graduate Nursing Council (GNC)

The Graduate Nursing Council (GNC) is the official nursing graduate student organization recognized by Emory University. Its purpose is to help promote the long-standing tradition of excellent nursing through leadership and unity of the graduate nursing students. Run by graduate students, the council is the voice of students in all MSN specialties. This fun group sponsors academic lunch and learn sessions and social events. Members participate in local and global charity events. The GNC informs graduate students about upcoming events and other announcements. It also advocates on behalf of graduate students when needed.

School of Medicine

Medical Student Senate (MSS)

Within the School of Medicine, Medical Student Senate is the official graduate student organization at Emory University. The MSS approves applications for medical student groups seeking charters and oversees various student organizations.

School of Law

Student Bar Association (SBA)

The Student Bar Association (SBA) is the student government of the law school, overseeing student organizations and representing student interests to the administration. It is composed of an executive board and three representatives from each class. SBA serves as the primary connection between the students and the administration.

Candler School of Theology

Candler School of Theology Candler Coordinating Council (C3)

C3 serves as our school’s governing body as it relates to coordination of student activities and the distribution of funds necessary to support them. Meetings are held monthly. C3 includes representatives from each class and degree program, representatives from each charter student organization, and Candler’s GSGA representatives.
