Get Involved
There are numerous ways to participate in Graduate Student Government at Emory University, and we hope that students will join. Graduate Student Government offers students the chance to gain experience and make an impact on campus, tailored to their unique interests and skills.
Elections
Elections are held in the spring for GSGA's executive leadership (President and Vice President) and its divisional councils. Most legislator elections for each divisional council are also held in the spring.
Appointed Positions
After the elections conclude, the Presidents and Vice Presidents of GSGA and its divisional councils will release applications for cabinet positions.
Student Organizations
There are numerous recognized student organizations (RSO) on campus that cater to a diverse array of interests. Check out the Hub recognized student organization directory to explore the available opportunities. Students can also connect with Student Training, Education, and Engagement Resource (STEER) Team to find the organization(s) that are right for them.
